Recently, I was commissioned by The Catechetical Children’s Choir to write a few hymns inspired by traditional prayers, and the teachings of the Early Church. This hymn was inspired Anima Christi, a medieval prayer. My translation was inspired by John Henry Newman’s English version of this prayer. Spanish version is upcoming.
