O Lord, I Am Not Worthy

This is a retuning of a beloved text; music and new chorus by Carlos Colón. Recorded by the choir and congregation of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Waco, Texas.

O Lord, I am not worthy that thou should’st come to me;
But speak the word of comfort, my spirit healed shall be.

Refrain: Worthy, Worthy, Worthy / Worthy is Your name / The Lamb before all ages/ The King who comes to reign. / Worthy of all praises/ Worthy and adored, the Alpha and Omega/ The Savior of the world.

And humbly I’ll receive thee, the bridegroom of my soul,
No more by sin to grieve thee or fly thy sweet control.

Eternal Holy Spirit, unworthy though I be,
Prepare me to receive him and trust the Word to me.

Increase my faith, dear Jesus, in thy real presence here,
And make me feel most deeply that thou to me art near.

Estribillo en español: Digno, digno, digno/ Digno de alabar/ Cordero sempiterno, el Rey que volverá/ Digno de alabanza, digno de loor/ el Alfa y Omega: del mundo el Salvador.
