A few years ago, my friend Neftalí Valiente and I organized a music camp for children in Aguilares, El Salvador. As part of this, I composed this setting of Psalm 122. This started a project for me, where I would set many Psalms to music. In upcoming months, several of them will be included in GIA’s new bilingual hymnal (more about that later).
This summer, I will also be releasing a new album: “Psalms, Hymns and Songs” – “Salmos, Himnos y Cánticos.”
There will be so many to thank in these projects, and I will do so accordingly – in due time.
